And thereafter:

Breaking the strike of AF pilots?

Ok finally some marketing.
1800 EUR return in J is not very cheap.
The same way 449 EUR is not very cheap.

Price at 349 EUR and 1299 EUR respectively as launch fares and there will be takers. I will find a reason to fly to Hong Kong for that.
Once you are established you can jack up the fares.

I would pay 449 EUR for a flight to NRT. But anymore than that and it makes more sense to get miles and lounge access with Oneworld and enjoy the occasional free upgrade.

I'm the voice of the market.

If they want to fly via the south route they will need more fuel, less pax...By the way, yesterday with hot weather I saw some 340 departures in DUS, they need a lot of runway length !!

Were they full thrust? On long runways aircraft take off at reduced thrust to reduce engine wear, so the take off roll is longer.

Both planes heading Tenerife according to FR24, one flies for TUI and it seems the other one is positioning for TUI NL.

I've been keeping an eye on the AB site because I'm thinking of booking through them to fly to HKG with premium & business this summer.
While checking I found out that for both the flights underneath the whole business and premium section are sold out?
06 June 2018 CRL - HKG
&
08 June 2018 HKG -CRL
maybe they actually are flying then? ;) ;)

I'm pretty confident that AB will be able to survive and become something big. Me, myself a frequent traveller for the route BXL - HKG (2-3x a year) wouldn't mind traveling through CRL even my friends (HK) wouldn't mind.

Why is the fr24 trace so bad, when any 747 is very good ?
Wrong location of the antenna (on the plane i mean) ?

How many hours, say per 90 days / 1 year, must a pilot fly to keep his/her licence valid?

I understand quite a number have joined AB for "some" time now. Those charter flights could then be useful in this regard?

Thanks,

H.A.

A couple of days ago, Niky Terzakis tweeted that he didn't have the overflight rights yet, but that customers should not worry: they would be offered alternatives or reimbursement in case of cancellations.
