If they piss off one of their biggest client its not a great plan, veto or not...
But fedex should be more clear if they have big plans

Apparently thr fight was about 22 hectares...
Which is weird because LGG has 470 hectares available but the closest to the track the better ofc ;)

L'echo mentions Fedex is asking for 110 hectares for expansion before 2040...

Alibaba Group, and Liege Airport today signed a contract to lease a total area of 220,000 square meters to build a world-class smart logistics hub at Liege Airport. The initial investment will be 75 million euros, with the first phase of the facility planned to commence operations in early 2021.

This week, on request of SOWAER, night trials for a new SID from runway 22L in LGG.

Rough route description
Unlike other SID's from 22L, this one will offer a left turn after departure, probably improving drastically airport capacity !
