The current PEP (Personal Entertainment Player) entertainment system has been replaced by Bluebox for iPad. Passengers thus have a wide choice of recent films, television programs, news and daily newspapers, music, children's programmes and games.

The content, containing daily news broadcasts and television programmes, was born from a collaboration with RTL-tvi and VRT. Le Soir and De Morgen / Het Nieuws Laatste newspapers are available online on the iPad.

The iPad is available free of charge for passengers travelling in Comfort Service. If you are travelling in Economy Service, you can book in advance an iPad for 10 € each way. During the flight, Economy passengers can get an iPad through 12 € per trip, subject to availability.

Starred meals on board (Jeunes Restaurateurs d'Europe)
VIP Selection passengers receive a meal prepared by a starred Belgian chef of Jeunes Restaurateurs d'Europe (JRE). This winter, the Vivendum restaurant's chef Alex Clevers of Dilsen Stokkem (1 Michelin star) created these meals.

New: next summer, this concept celebrates its 10th season, with meals prepared by starred chef Maxime Collard of restaurant La Table de Maxime in Our/Paliseul (1 Michelin star).

Jetairfly will receive another brand new B738 (OO-JAU) tomorrow, February 20th.
Two other brand new B738's will arrive around April.

The first Embraer 190, OO-JEM, will arrive in Brussels on Thursday February 28th.
The second one, OO-JEB, will arrive on March 16th.

There has been no information given to Jetairfly regarding the B787. It is still supposed to arrive in November 2013, although that might slip into a later date as everybody can imagine. No official info from Boeing yet on this topic.

:?: Just a question: Is there any in-flight entertainment on the E-190 like overhead screens or a routemap as on the other aircrafts of JAf? Thanks

"the first Belgian Embraer"

Tut, tut Andre!

Are there not Embraers flying for the Air Component? Also there used to be Embraer 120 Brasilias in the DAT fleet and there are still a couple of Xingu on the register

Something like "the first Belgian E190" or "the first Belgian commercial Embraer jet aircraft" (to exclude the ex-DAT Embraers) may be better? ;p

I know. My mistake. I flew myself on the DAT Brasilias.

I should have written "First E-Jet" or "Embraer 170-190".

Jetairfly announces flights on the Casablanca – Beauvais route

On 15 April 2013, Jetairfly will launch a new route between Casablanca and Paris – Beauvais with a 189-seat Boeing 737-800, thus becoming the 5th airline to use the Tillé airport in Beauvais. The other airlines at Beauvais are Ryanair, Wizz Air, Air Moldova and Blue Air.

There will be two flights a week; On Mondays the aircraft will leave Casablanca Mohammed V at 8h50 to land in Beauvais at 13h35, and on Thursdays at 6h25 to land at 11h20. The return flights will take off on Mondays at 14h30 (arrival 15h30) and on Thursdays at 12h15 (arrival 13h15). This new route will complement the route from Orly, which will be operated thrice weekly this summer.

The competition is high on this route: Air France (from CDG and Orly), Air Méditerranée (CDG), easyJet (CDG), Royal Air Maroc (CDG and Orly), and Vueling from 1 June (Orly).
