Oosfu is still on ground because there is a shortage on the market of PW engines....
Is there still a market of PW engines ? or is it a search on a market for used / recuperation parts ?

Just wondering, OO-SFB has been in brussels for a really long time now, is it going to be repainted soon in Brussels Airlines colors?

LOL only 2 weeks, repaint is not in the pipeline yet as they need all the planes in their daily operations ... especially with SFU being grounded

SFY won't go out if SFU is still not in service, if I have well understood ?

SFD is (was?) supposed to enter ops this week with the new interior. That would make a total of 10, even without SFU and SFY.

SFD will replace SFE or SFG, both already started operating with ex-SIA interior to ensure an 'on-time' phase-out of SFM/N/O, but were originally never intended to operate for SN with their old cabins. They are next up for the retrofit (1 by 1) as these cabins are the worst for customer experience (no lie-flat C class, limited spare parts of the SIA interior/IFE, etc.).

On 2 May exactly. It was announced earlier in another thread.

Question,

Will OO-SFF be with the new cabin outfit when it joins the fleet in June, or will it start flying and then be transformed at a later stage?

Why not about all the flemish/belgian Masters painters : from Brueghel and Rubens to Ensor and Permeke ?!

I must admit that I am à bit lost :
. What will be the A330 SN fleet after the replacement?
. Which aircrafts are flying for brussels airlines and Eurowings ?
. Which birds are painted in the EW c/s or SN c/s ?

Sn fleet will be: 8 a330-300

OO-SFB
OO-SFC
OO-SFD
OO-SFE
OO-SFF
OO-SFG
OO-SFH
OO-SFX

The a330-200 that will still stay a couple of years

OO-SFT
OO-SFU
OO-SFZ

the aircrafts that will leave this year are: OO-SFV, OO-SFW and OO-SFY.

All the other aircrafts with belgian registration like OO-SFK, OO-SFJ,... are for Eurowings!

Interesting. That would mean an overall increase from 10 to 11 aircraft, if they all operatie for SN. So while being silent about it, they would have expanded! Is that correct? And they would have used this for additional frequencies to Africa. Or would they still have room for more flights?
Unless OO-SNB is operating only for EW.

If you look at

https://sites.google.com/site/lhgroupfleet/brussels

you'll see that OO-SFU will leave the fleet also, but only in one year (March 2020) ...

So for the time being it will be still at 10 planes from then onwards ... unless some of the A330 additional aircraft planned by LH are for SN (see their annual report).

How this will work operationally, I don't know. I made a simulation for the number of flights when Kinshasa will be back at 7 flights a week. Don't know if the following schema is correct though (and that is a summer scheme):

1 Dakar 3
2 Dakar Banjul 4
3 Banjul Conakry 3
4 Freetown Monrovia 5
5 Accra Lomé 7
6 Abidjan Cotonou 4
7 Abidjan Ougadougou 3
8 Douala Yaounde 6
9 Douala Kinshasa 1
10 Kinshasa Luanda 3
11 Kinshasa 3
12 Bujumbura Entebbe 1
13 Kigali Entebbe 6
14 Toronto 5
15 New York 7
16 Washington 7
