No flights (all destinations) on sale yet for the winter season at TUIfly Belgium. Normally they release them end of March if I remember correctly.

Just because no release winter schedule yet, I think Tenerif is in the top 3 of leisure destinations ex-BRU.

Hainan never flies its 788 to Brussels fortunately.
Yes they do actually...
789 yes
788 no...

It’s rare but they use them to BRU.
Last Sunday the flight to SZX was with a 788

Thank you for this summary. I assume the frequency increase of an existing route is NH to Tokyo...as for the other one which will not be Air China...could it be AI ?

Either Air India or Eva to Taipei.
BAC has been working on both for a while.

Is their enough demand to warrant a flight to Taipei?

Could it be the 4th destination of Hainan (Chongqing)? Saw this passing by: https://www.xiaohongshu.com/explore/67a ... 976340866b

You are right it will be Air India in my opinion but I don't know if it will be Mumbai or Delhi ?!
The hub is Delhi if I'm not mistaken but Mumbai would be a bigger market between Belgium and India.
Hasta la victoria siempre.

For the increase in frequency, I am guessing this could as well be Singapore Airlines. Took the flight a few times and they seem to be doing more than ok (LFs around 75-80 % each time).

Not really, around 13k pax both ways before Covid, even below Vietnam.
But remember that Taipei is still a Star Alliance hub.

I hope it will be an Indian airline.
This country is booming and future looks good.
We have 1000s and 1000s of qualified Indian people working in Belgium and in BRU catchment area incl. NL, western D and Paris + North France.

Exactly, it's the fourth destination for Hainan to Chongqing. And the increase is not for NH but also for Hainan who wants to go daily to Shanghai

So BAC still has a lot of work to do (India - Taiwan and Korea) but let's not deny our pleasure...even if they are all morning flights and no evening flights! I am surprised by the non-increase in frequency of NH to Japan.

NH was supposed to increase from winter but nothing confirmed unfortunately.

So that means 3 daily flights for Hainan on six days of the week. Very impressive! It makes sense for them to add Chongqing considering they want to make it their primary hub and it is getting more attention as tourist destination, but to as well increase Shanghai to daily comes as a surprise for me (total 11 weekly with Juneyao)! Any idea on the load factors for their current flights at BRU?

I fly often to Taipei and all flights from Europe (EVA, CI) to Taipei are always packed, so it would make sense for EVA to add some more destinations, but I assume there are more logical destinations (more popular with Taiwanese tourists) for them to serve first prior BRU (Rome, MAD, BCN, PRG, CPH, ZRH ...).

I took the Juneyao flight to Shanghai in October 2024.
The flight was full from Bru, on the return the LF was 90%, 90% Chinese people.
