According to an article behind paywall of the French "Journal de l'Aviation", LOT Polish Airlines will lease a second Airbus A330neo from Air Belgium under an ACMI contract. LOT has been wet-leasing a first Air Belgium A330neo since August 2023, operating essentially between Warsaw and New York JFK.

Actually, I have a doubt that it is really what it is supposed to say as the title is "LOT is also taking the second Airbus A330neo of Air Belgium in ACMI". My opinion is that they are supposing that both are flying but there is currently only one flying. Do not count on me to pay €19, that's insane.

That leaves Air Belgium with only one passenger plane (A330-900 OO-ABF), after the twe A330-200s are gone to Air Serbia. Very little for a sustainable ACMI ooperation.

What is great is that actually nobody checks info when they get published.

Yes, the first A339 left to Tarbes.
No, the A332 aren't gone (yet) to AirSERBIA : they are currently flying for Sri Lankan Airlines.

Air Belgium confirmed itself that OE-LAC and OE-LCL will go to Air Serbia:

Remarkable phrase in that article: "...We bereiden ons momenteel voor om deze vliegtuigen te vervangen door nieuwere toestellen met een interieur dat beter aansluit bij de vraag van de klant, zegt een woordvoerster van Air Belgium..."

They HAD a newer aircraft with better interior: OO-ABG = a 3 year old 330-941N. Parked in Tarbes now. Why? There aren't many reasons why a 3 year old aircraft is moved from its home base.

I know they are going to airSERBIA but the sentence of André is misleading.

Furthermore, ABG left to Tarbes due to problems at the engines, once again.

Some misunderstandings and frustration of employees. Two companies in big trouble.

The white man anyway is always the racist.

I wrote an article at L-Post about this incident (which was released this Monday), I had from one source that the captain was indeed banned from Sri Lanka. However, I would like to mention that AB, as usual, seems to answer "à la tête du client" as we haven't got any answer to our questions or statement. From my side, I cross-checked several info to be as factual as possible. We noted that the Sri Lankan Guild says the incident had a racist outcome, however, we weren't able to confirm it.

So, 5 passengers came on board with an economy boarding pass but pretended they were, according to an agreement with their company, entitled to sit in business class. Captain offers four of them an upgrade as there are only four empty seats in the front. The five make a fuss about it, demand that an additional seat is made available and finally refuse to travel.
How on earth is this racist?
A self-declared journo with a personal agenda against Air Belgium writes an article about it and la Libre picks it up, a troll even thinks it’s linked to the financial situation of both companies… Talking about blowing something out of proportion!

Have you ever considered looking for a job that really suits your talent?

The word "alleged" appears quite often in the video clips that I saw on Twitter. Apart from an Air Belgium captain who says "Belgian Law" 5 times in a speech, I don't find anything special anywhere.

The original news comes from the ALPGSL itself : https://www.facebook.com/ALPGSLOfficial ... XsyS2jgsxl

I am not saying that the incident was racist, however, I wrote, supervised by my editor-in-chief, that this is what the ALPGSL says. Once again, we were not able to confirm that it happened. "Après cet incident, l’ALPGSL a confirmé le débarquement des pilotes. De plus, le nom du pilote belge impliqué y a été révélé. Selon des observateurs, « [les Sri Lankais] ont apparemment décidé de jouer la carte raciste » en indiquant que les pilotes asiatiques auraient été victimes « d’abus racistes » de la part du commandant de bord." So we don't write it as a fact but as a possibility.

Furthermore, I already knew about the incident before the article of the Daily Mirror LK gets released. It is only after it happened that I decided to write after a discussion with my editor-in-chief. That article had nearly no influence because both sources I was talking with told that that content (of the Daily Mirror LK) was fake news, so I didn't take it into account. In fact, I only compared my news to theirs but I didn't copy anything.

Also, I also mentioned later that the PRJ was extended but that's pretty much it and it is a separated part of the article (except the link that an Airbus had already left Colombo which was expected anyway).

An article based on a Facebook post as the only source, just saying…
