The designator consists of a three-character flight number prefix and should be phonetically similar to corresponding telephony designator, for example: BIZ for telephony designator “Business.”

2.2 a) A three letter designator should reflect to the maximum extent practicable, the name of the aircraft operating agency or its telephony designator, or the aeronautical service for which it is requested.

a) the telephony designator chosen should attempt to resemble the name of the aircraft operating agency or its function and be distinct and dissimilar from any other telephony designators in Doc 8585. Ideally it should reflect correlation between the three letter designator, the telephony designator and the name of the aircraft operating agency or its function (examples: ARO – ARROW – Arrow Aviation; RAJ – RAJI – Raji Airlines);

It is a requirement that the three-letter designator, telephony designator (aka call sign), and name of the aircraft operating agency (aka airline) should relate to one another, however it is not a requirement to change either designator if the airline name changes. Example TUI fly Nordic has call sign Bluescan because the airline was previously Blue Scandinavian.

Perhaps Beauty came about because Jetair would have been considered not "distinct and dissimilar" enough from call sign Jet Airways. There is also a TUI Jet call sign already (TUI fly Deutschland).

Challenge Group of Belgium signed an MOU with Israel Aerospace Industries for four B767-300BDSF and four B777-300ERSF conversions. The B767-300BDSF conversions will commence in 2Q 2022.

Challenge Group has submitted its AOC application in Malta, which will join the existing Challenge Air Cargo, as the Group looks to establish another new airline. The new airline is planned to receive the fleet of converted B767-300BDSF aircraft and will be headed by Mauro Porta as the Accountable Manager.
