AtlasGlobal should fly again from tomorrow or from 21 December. It is not yet clear since I don't speak Turkish, I can find any good info but it seems that AtlasGlobal told the employees the good news.

Avianca Brasil lost its last two planes, as they were repossessed by Airbus Financial Services.

South African Airways has a reasonable chance of being saved, according to turnaround specialist Les Matuson, who was appointed to try and pull the state-run carrier back from the brink of collapse.

Far Eastern Air Transport filed a request with the CAA to resume its operations. The carrier expects new funding. But it could lose its license if it does not improve its operations, says the government.

Meanwhile, the airline has suspended a plan to take delivery of two AT72-600s until CAA gives it permission to resume services.

To make things even more difficult, Taiwan will ban all commercial aircraft older than 26 years, according to new regulations that will go into force on 01 January 2020. All four jets are MD80s owned by Far Eastern Air Transport.

They have stopped on 11 January.

According to Sky News, flybe is near to collapse, but the airline denies.

Not at all, the airline refuses to react, which is very different from denying!

After IAG, Ryanair:

Ryanair wrote to Chancellor of the Exchequer, Sajid Javid MP, calling on him to extend the APD eco tax given to Flybe to all of its UK airline competitors, as otherwise this government subsidy will be in breach of Competition law and State Aid rules.
