I don't uderstand the press release in frenchspeaking newspapers : Icelandair Cargo has been operating a daily flight to LGG for many years now !

I heard FedEx asked for SID changes at LGG. The current SID's are (to say the least) completely inefficient, probably even more in the eyes of americans ;)
That would be in contradiction with the environmental policy used so far by Sowaer and Walloon Region. One single departure route to minimize noise disturbances with soundproofing measures for local residents !

Doesn't european law require an environmental study now prior to change departure routes at airports ? I think I saw a statement of Minister Bellot recently about that for departure routes from BRU.
Or maybe FedEx tries to have those LGG departure routes changed before that law !

It's not only the French-speaking press, but it's also Icelandair Cargo itself on its LinkedIn account !!!

I guess its just a small increase in capacity, maybe replacing the 757 by 767
The PR is free publicity right ?
Iceland press was first, 2 days ago
https://www.mbl.is/vidskipti/frettir/20 ... ex_og_tnt/

And the idiots of the belgian press converted that into a scoop... "icelandair débarque à Liège"
Icelandair is one of the oldest client of Liege.

Noticed QR8302/A7BFC from ORD to OST. Is it a new test or traffic taken from LGG ?
