And more of the same:

American Airlines is considering to order Airbus proposed A321XLR aircraft to replace its ageing fleet of 34 Boeing 757-200 jets. Airbus is expected to launch the XLR variant in the upcoming Paris airshow later this month, and expected to enter service in 2023-2024

So the A321XLR is officially launched today and it seems MEA of Lebanon will be a launch customer for thin routes between Beirut and West Africa, Kinshasa is also in the cards.

Airbus is looking at ways to increase the proportion of A321neo output, as demand for the aircraft grows.

AerCap (a lessor from Ireland) says it will only convert some of its A321neos on order to the XLR, if it sees that the XLR market is more than a niche market.

IAG chief executive Willie Walsh says A321 delivery days are “unacceptable” as they forced Aer Lingus to postpone the launch of a Dublin – Montreal service to summer 2020.

How does he consider the delays for his intended order of 737 MAX aircraft?

Never heard about that one, the limitation with LH is probably linked to the new aft cg limitation.
1. Aft cg
2. Decelerating during app.
3. Flaps 1-full
