I am not trying to put a delay tag on a specific aircraft. I only take note that FR24 recorded that a flight had an ATD of so much. If this is a delay compared to the STD, then I register it as such (if it exceeds 1 hour). Without putting the blame on a given aircraft.
That is not what you wrote...
Homo Aeroportus wrote: 01 Sep 2019, 22:07 My own questions were around : is it true that "so many flights" are affected? Were the old birds more or less prone to delays?

Two pics hereafter :

History :

SN Flight Delays Graph by Month.png
July and August were terrible in terms of on-time departures, not even showing all cancellations.

But this is over (fingers crossed). Today all SN chicks are on duty :

Even OO-SFZ that played the Hangar Queen during the last 15 days is fit again.
She had a 1-hour dry run yesterday and today is heading for Douala.

OOSFZ was indeed in the hangar for some time, but it wasn’t a technical issue.
It had some spilling of a fluid in the hold that had really annoying and irrating smell in the cabin

An airline with it's core business flying to Africa should plan to have some Febreze on hand.

Having worked myself in luggage department, there's a "special" smell on a lot of Africa flights. I suspect the one and only reason is because of food being imported. That was probably the only thing he/she wanted to say, don't always seek attacks where there aren't any.

The winner is Montreal, Canada ==> https://www.aviation24.be/airlines/luft ... a-in-2020/

More capacity to Washington, United States making it a full-year destination.

Toronto, Canada will be discontinued as from 7 January 2020.

Will Air Canada take over Toronto Route?

I think the Air Canada booking engine needs an update: still possible to book direct Brussels Toronto, but site says that the flight is operated by Brussels Airlines.

Inquirer wrote: 29 Aug 2019, 10:52 Another cost saver could be to swap routes with Air Canada: have Air Canada operate to their hub in Toronto and have B.air serve the route to Montreal instead, possibly as an add-on to the existing daily flight from Air Transat which is also to become Air Canada.

As such, the set up could be made similar to how they currently serve Washinton as an add-on to the year round United flight during peak periods only and quite successfully so, going by the fact they seem to modestly extend the period of operation on their own flight even?

Perfect way to keep on offering the destination and be able to pocket summer profits, without the losses of the winter...
Seems like I called this one correctly!?

Not that it is a great coup: it's common sense to swap the routes and it has been reported here in the past to have been discussed between them and Air Canada already, but it seems that only now that they are out of Eurowings, the A++ alliance partners are willing to commit to long term projects with them again...

According to my sources, Air Canada will take over Toronto AND will stay flying to Montreal but with a lower frequency.

We can hope something like 11 flights per week if we mix AT, AC and SN?

According to my GDS, YUL by AC will be daily still. AC833 departing 15:00, arriving 16:25. But possibly they are going to downgrade that frequency still. But the timing is totally new I think?

Those were one of the new announcements which we hoped for that they would do before the Winter schedule. See topic BRU: Star, Oneworld and Skyteam under one roof where I noted a few weeks ago that some new routes would be announced.

So this is the first one, or two if you see them separately.

Now waiting for the other ones to do the same before Winter
