Has Belgium annexed Southern Poland :) ?

Mind you, I always said these ridiculous IATA codes are a source of confusion and mistakes.

Indeed.

KRK (IATA) - EPKK (ICAO). Kraków.
KJK (IATA) - EBKT (ICAO). Kortrijk.

I always suggest to use the IATA (International Air Transport Association) code when referring to this activity : transporting passengers or goods. This is waht appears on your boarding card and on your baggage tag.
And the ICAO code when referring to the facility, the Aerodrome, in a more "technical" sense.

So OO-SFD will fly BRU-YYZ and therefore files a flight plan between EBBR and CYYZ.

There is enough room for all of us on this planet so I won't force anyone to use any specific "language". The only important point being to communicate, i.e. using a code that is understandable by the other party.

Peace and Love.
