Indeed: no info about the re-re-re-relaunch of Hong Kong, no info about their new destination(s), no info about their ACMI plans, no info about their financial result 2018 (their annual general meeting was 27th May 2019).

finally a plan that makes sense ...
Martinique AND Guadeloupe, same flight, triangle, I suppose ?
My messages reflect my personal opinion which may be different than yours. I beleive a forum is made to create a debate so I encourage people to express themselves, the way they want, with the ideas they want. I expect the same understanding in return.

Exactly.

Sorry for my late answer on the forum but I have been working all the day on the topic, and I've got my personal work as well. It is a great news.

Is there a risk for Brussels Airlines to lose the authorisation to fly 7 times a week?
I suppose Air Belgium will take over the rights that normally a Congolese airline should use but what are the reciprocal agreements?

Nope - I can't explain that. I also don't know how it can work.

If Bet-online would have opened an online gambling game few months ago "what will be the next 3 destinations from Air Belgium?", those who would have put money on "Guadeloupe/Martinique, Kinshasa, Miami" would now cash in millions.

Interesting article in L'Echo: their 20M € funds ("paid-up capital"?) are totally gone, and they received another 10M € funding from Sogepa (4M), SRIW (1M), SFPI (1M), Sabena Aerospace (1M) and new Chinese and/or Congolese investors (3M). And an outstanding amount with Airbus Finance (5M €) has been changed into a long term debt. I'm looking forward to their financial status end of 2018...

The rent of their A340s has also been reduced from 1M euros per month to 800k euros. And they might (?) replace a gas-guzzling A340 by a less thirsty A330.

At least Niky Terzakis has negotiating skills!

Many tried, but always shortly.
An other European carrier, LOT Polish Airlines, also started MIA with their B787 and the planes are even not half full. Can you imagine an A340? And for LOT Polish Airlines it makes more or less sence to fly there as you have a huge Polish community in Chicago, so MIA is logic. So if they are also not able to fill....

Belgium and Poland are two different markets..it’s like comparing apples to oranges.
