He probably refers to Brussels Airlines, from BRU to SVO.

I guess you are talking about SN? But they have a totally different business plan. Pobeda is transporting (leisure) passengers that have to go from Russia to Belgium. SN transports both leisure and business passengers from Russia to whole Europe, to Africa and to Northern America. You can't compare the two airlines.

Book one and go for a big surprise!
Flights are sold out now.
Was nice to see them at OST but we can forget a restart now.

Cologne is getting extra flights and will be served daily from mid September.

Yes ,of course.A few examples:
-The LF on the Moscow flights was not bad. If Pobeda resumes flights as from october from Moscow AND,why not, Saint-Petersburg, it is likely to work. They only need to attract a little bit more Belgian,French,Dutch passengers.
- EGIS should find an airline willing to resume BCN ,NCE and FCO flights and it wil work again. Maybe an italian or Spanisch carrier to attract more Italian and Spanish passengers. Volotea/Vueling? Maybe in cooperation with TUI to offer the citytrips.

- A destination which could work: Manchester.
- Scotland/Ireland: Direct flights to GLA/ABZ/DUB through London Southend. Loganair just has to extend 1 of their Scotland flights from SEN to OST and there is a connection with both Glasgow and Aberdeen (Offshore-industry + backpackers from Belgium and city-trippers from over there into Bruges/Ghent/Ypres/...)

I think you should read mopa9000's message again, because you obviously didn't pay attention to what he actually wrote.
And what did he write smart ass?

Yes, he claimed that he spoke to MoL in is office and convinced him to start up from OST.

My source claims it was Mr Vande lanotte who convinced(financialy) Ryanair to start at OST because he knew the ferryservices would stop.

One was a businessman, the other..??.

According to Frederik Ureel (Belga), Pobeda will not return to OST before 2020.

That's what the spokeswoman of the airport told our local correspondent...
(and since it was not directly to me, I used "zou" in my tweet: https://twitter.com/frederikureel/statu ... 3755090945)

People from Ostend Air College (OO-CDC) will probably remember this incident at Maastricht, 26/07/2017:

Pressrelease from OST via Replo:
http://www.replo.be/Nieuws/Persbericht% ... -2019.html

Punctuality in July was 96.6%

The airport claims that POBEDA has problems due to the non delivery of the 737 max aircraft.
This is the reason why the route to Moskou stopped.

Bcube will start accepting freighter later this year.
