KLM will be a help to get their AOC faster
and with a day return service to LCY,offered by the only airport in Belgium, will be succesful again
the only thing they have to find out, is a good noon flight destination

Under my eternal excuse of not being an expert on commercial air transport:

That is, IMHO, not the right way of thinking in this situation. It is, no doubt, the right way to go about low-yield routes, but ANR was never a place for low-yield commercial air transport - there's enough alternatives nearby. At least ANR-LCY is a high-yield route (weren't VLM tickets around 400 €?), where parameters must be quite different. (This is also my reason for not believing in the current tourist flights from ANR/EBAW, btw. They only make it an airport just like any other.)

Because tourists don’t mind a flight with “stranger” hours.

I have flown ANR-LCY and back for around 130 €. Yes, full-flex tickets might have been 400€

Slots applied at LCY :

Air Antwerp - 17 weekly flights ANR - LCY

and also from BA...

Sun Air - 10 weekly flights LCY - ANR

Both should be for W19-20.

It seems they will use ICAO code 'ATW' and callsign 'Devil' for their flights.

Reason: Air Antwerp first aircraft, not VLM.

That article says much less than ours!

What is wrong with that article??? Public broadcaster VRT is not an aviation website or an aviation forum, and VRT/VRTnws.be is not an aviation news site but a general news site.

I'm pretty sure that Air Antwerp is more then happy that the arrival of their (first) aircraft at Antwerp was on VRT: no AOC yet, no destinations to be announced yet, no first flight yet.

New airline,
flying noisy,
(>30 year)old worn-out F50/F50's ?

Is that the best KLM/Cityjet can come up with?

Let's hope this is a cheap move to obtain an AOC,
and once an AOC is granted,
more recent a/c are brought in.
