Re: Lufthansa in 2019
Thank you to the crew of this site, plenty of figures and analysises to browse through. Except for LX, the other players of the group are heavily in the red, not a glorious Q1 this year worse than expected. However as the saying goes, no dark cloud can forever prevent the sun from shining, at least we would like to believe it concerning the EW venture ...

What makes you think SN’s figures are good?sn26567 wrote: ↑01 May 2019, 00:33No need to dig for SN: its results are drowned in the big loss of EW.sn-remember wrote: ↑30 Apr 2019, 20:41 I don't have the figures for OS, EW and SN yet, let me time to dig further
(Not saying they are bad, just curious to know whether you have data to back up your statement. The only thing I see is stagnating growth and an unhealthy load factor)
Re: Lufthansa in 2019
The SN figures are not good. I spoke with Christina Foerster this morning, and she said the SN figures were negative, like generally in the LH Group. The Q1 figures are always the worst, for every airline. Nevertheless, Foerster is confident the year will end in black figures for SN. Not so sure about EW.Poiu wrote: ↑01 May 2019, 19:33What makes you think SN’s figures are good?sn26567 wrote: ↑01 May 2019, 00:33No need to dig for SN: its results are drowned in the big loss of EW.sn-remember wrote: ↑30 Apr 2019, 20:41 I don't have the figures for OS, EW and SN yet, let me time to dig further

Re: Lufthansa in 2019
Any comment on the reason for the negative figures? Skeyes-actions? Overall lower revenue? Or "we don't know"?sn26567 wrote: ↑02 May 2019, 13:50The SN figures are not good. Re: Lufthansa in 2019
Lufthansa to fly using A343 only once a week from Frankfurt to Dublin as LH978/9 on Wednesday as from 3rd July.
Definitely another short flight with a big plane to make!

If you go through the article, you will read that Lufthansa once owned 50% of Condor.Matt wrote: ↑08 May 2019, 09:17Didn't they once own Condor...?TLspotting wrote: ↑07 May 2019, 18:01 Lufthansa (Group) made a bid for Condor take over.

Lufthansa Group focuses on high quality and responsible growth at its AGM.

Again and again. Lufthansa completely ignores Brussels Airlines in its press release. And not one single Brussels Airlines crew in the family picture. A complete lack of respect!

Re: Lufthansa in 2019
The treatment of SN by LH is (compared to the way they treat LX and OS), I'm afraid, an example of how Germans look to Belgium: we're "quantité négligeable", a country with no national identity (they wrongly think), a country that can be tossed around without the slightest bit of respect.sn26567 wrote: ↑08 May 2019, 14:49 Lufthansa, SWISS and Austrian Airlines customer service now also available via Messenger App.

I could see a parallel with how they were never bothered by our existence during particular events in the 20th century, but I won't...
Funny detail, if we compare Belgium to Switzerland and Austria: Belgium is (population wise) the biggest country. 11,3 million compared to 8,7 million for Austria and 8,4 million for Switzerland. So a little more respect should be welcome.
Re: Lufthansa in 2019
Actually, you did.
Now compare your population figures with the gross national product (quick calculation, abbreviated to 2 digits, same source for all):
Switzerland: 66
Austria: 53
Belgium: 48
