Fonts used by Brussels Airlines for A/C registrations

Post by keukenrol »

Hello

I am currently searching which fonts are used by Brussels Airlines on the A32F fleet for the registrations.
It seems there are a few differences between aircraft. Most of them seem to look like Helvetica or Arial but I am not sure about it. The fonts are to be used for flight simulation aircraft repaints.
Who can help me out?

Thanks!

Unusual discussion. :)

Since you are examining the subject, could you maybe show some examples?

Unusual discussion indeed, but interesting nevertheless.

Not sure if they are using two different fonts, but the one used for OO-SSB seems to be more 'bold' than the one used for OO-SSR.

Best regards,
Ivan

For example, the SSB has his O's looking more like zero's ( 0 ).

I would not call that a different font. IMHO we have here Helvetica "normal" and "bold", with a mistake when replacing O by 0.

According to "myFonts", the reg on ex OODWD is similar to "Back and Forth".

Thanks for the update, I will check with similar font recognition websites what will be the result for other pictures. The problem is that you need a front view picture of the reg, the slightest inclination can change the font type.

a mistake when replacing O by 0
Oh come on. Some at SN are behind the times, perhaps, but are things really THAT bad? I well remember teaching my late father (b. 1921) to avoid that error, well nigh on 40 years ago now...

OO-SNF seems to have the 0's (zero) as well.

I like to add the details, because that way you can get those aircraft "as real as it gets" :D

After doing some research, they are probably using this font: Legal Bold by Linotype

Check out my personal review on cold-ice tea maker, jogging stroller for baby. I also write recipes and other reviews.

The O's are looking very similar indeed, but the S and R are completely different. Thanks for your input!
