Also OO-SNI (in maintenance for about 6 weeks) and OO-SNJ (in maintenance for over 3 months) are again flying.

SNE was supposed to be the next, as OOSNA was first and OOSNF last, SNE was the only aircraft not yet in Belgian colors. I bet on Art Nouveau !

Not Art Nouveau (confirmed to me by an SN manager, who would not disclose the final design, however).

I don't think it's a good idea for an airline to upset a lot of their clients in the north. After all, Brel is the singer from "...Messieurs les Flamingants, Je vous emmerde...."

But he was also singing "Le plat pays" and "Marieke", celebrating Flanders...

He was Flemish,French speaking but Flemish !
I think there was a lot of auto derision in his songs.

I am hoping it's a waffle plane. Would be amazing. Or a plane full of fries :D

Others I'd really like:

- A chocolate plane
- Gaston Lagaffe / Guust Flater
- Spirou et Fantasio / Robbedoes ( or just a plane with all the Dupuis characters )

A plane showing our beers would also be nice, but I think it's a bad idea PR wise ( with promoting alcohol on a plane :? )

As Passenger points out, he has, in fact, on his last album sung "The flamingants" but he is the best-known Belgian singer "outside the border" and has marvelously sung Belgium and Flanders in particular, it seems to me. "The flat country" is more the northern party than the southern part ... it speaks only of Flanders and it is simply beautiful and it is a francophone who says it ... we'll see!

Rather a global shortage of the required PW engines, resulting in a prelonged AOG of SFU... They probably use the ground time to do some other stuff (but it's not getting the new interior for example), but that's not the primary reason it's been on the ground for so long now.

Is it still a result of the fuel contamination of last December at Kinshasa Airport ?

Not that I know. Engines also need heavy maintenance once in a while, or quicker if detailed inspections reveal things that make it risky or too unsafe to continue operations with that engine. There are for the moment too many PW engines in such heavy maintenance for too long causing a shortage of these engines on the market. It's not an SN or SFU -specific issue.

Air Nostrum and Sepla reach an agreement that puts an end to the pilot strike. The company will recover most of the flights canceled on Wednesday 17. The flights on days 22, 23 and 24 will be operated as normal. Complete information in: http://www.airnostrum.es/page.asp?ruta= ... o=Noticias
