Actually, KL is already offering departures from Brussels-Zuid/Midi station (ZYR) in addition to departures from BRU :

Zakenreisnieuws.nl ("Business Travel News") now reports: for the summer season, Amsterdam Airport has now limited the number of inbound wide bodies between 07h20 and 10h30 a.m. to 41 aircraft. Reason: not enough connected gates. Background, according to Zakenreisnieuws.nl: "Door de 500.000-slotlimiet uit het Aldersakkoord mogen er geen vluchten meer toegevoegd worden op Schiphol. Schiphol Airport says: "Less connected gates means discomfort for passengers, and tow truck traffic to/from remote stands cause a lot more runway crossings".

So, basicly... AMS is double f*cked in this one. Less slots means bigger planes which in turn are limited due to capacity issues.
