Re: Anomalies in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2019
TUIfly's OO-TEA operating TB2601 ANR- NDR (Nador), over mid-France returned and diverted to BRU (probably for technical support). An hour and a half later it re-positioned to ANR, so whatever reason for the 'RTB', it was fixed quickly.
Re: Anomalies in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2019
Some problems with de-/anti-icing systems apparently.
The flight in question was later on flown with a B738 from BRU instead.

Other media and Beeline customer service (which I contacted) state the same.

I had already posted my doubts about the fuel contamination: not normal that there were no complaints from other acft that took from the same '' barrel'' there are other causes concerning these SFU problems ...still not known what exactly but i am sure it was not a fuel contamination...

Off course “engine” and “SFU” is probably forbidden to be mentioned in one senyence by nowTLspotting wrote: ↑19 Jan 2019, 08:36 Other media and Beeline customer service (which I contacted) state the same.

I normally abstain when it's about technical matters. But with so many hearsay statements here, I want to join the SFU tribunal.
Southbound was at FL350. Return northbound was at FL340. If it was engine failure indeed, wouldn't they have descended to a much lower altitude?

Since a few time, I prefer to take silence in the forum due to the still negative statements aimed at discrediting SN... Everyone can express their opinion but you have to be right!
Re: Anomalies in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2019
I didnt say failure, I said overheat .. Which may indeed have been the result of a faulty sensor/computer.Passenger wrote: ↑19 Jan 2019, 18:57 I normally abstain when it's about technical matters. But with so many hearsay statements here, I want to join the SFU tribunal.

Its not about discrediting at all btw, just said I heard differently. Im sure the technicians at SN are doing a fine job.

Snow expected from tomorrow morning, might impact operations at Belgian airports. And traffic going to/from the airport.

Ah, poor little Belgium, how small can a little country be in big matters! A few centimetres of snow announced, and panic is everywhere! I will be working like usual tomorrow - bar catastrophe, of course, but even 10 cm of snow is not a catastrophe.

A bit more north of us, they also expect flight disruptions:

Important announcements.
Forecast of snow.
Last update: 21 January 2019, 16:30.
There is a forecast of snow tomorrow (January 22nd), so flights may be delayed.
Advice: keep checking Schiphol.nl, our app or your airline for current flight information.

I still remember this famous forum topic nine years ago: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=40972jan_olieslagers wrote: ↑21 Jan 2019, 17:46 Ah, poor little Belgium, how small can a little country be in big matters! Not everybody was happy with the snow, some tweets.
