Update : ZI38 VCP - ORY 14:45 - 07:15+1 A343 21/10/2018*

The return flight is 1 day later, something like Surinam Airways?
No second crew at VCP, hence the same crew is flying both outbound and inbound and needs some (legal) rest at VCP.

Air Belgium is going to fly for TUI fly Belgium (once again) from Brussels to Varadero and Montego Bay on 21/22 October 2018. These flights will be operated by OO-ABB.

TB704 to Brussels on Sunday evening canceled.

ABB is going to be transfered this evening around 20:15 from CRL to BRU as TB703P.

Then there's also a stop at MBJ, where the flight is cancelled.

Last night ABD was flown to Perpignan, to EAS services. For maintenance or winter storage?

We’re delighted and privileged to welcome an official delegation led by He Jinping, Vice Governor of Henan Province, together with our partner HNCA Team, led by Chairman Zhang Mingchao, ahead of launching service to Zhengzhou city. Also present: Jean-Jacques Cloquet and Hervé Fransens from BSCA and Michel Kempeneers, AWEX.

The least you can say is that last weeks communication is contradictory... and messy

Can someone explain what this means? Thought air Belgium lost Chinese partner and was going to focus on ACMI, not scheduled flights? Thanks

The scheduled flights were to resume from Summer 2019.

They should really improve their corporate communications. I’ve never seen such unprofessional communication from an airline company.

What is their key message? What are they trying to tell/sell ? Posting pictures of unreadable content and unknown people to the general public makes no sense at all...

I agree their communication is rather messy, but on the other hand, if you look at the latest press release on their website (https://www.airbelgium.com/en/press/med ... belgium-en), it's rather clear:

"Air Belgium confirms that it is to temporarily pause its flights from Charleroi Airport to Hong Kong during the coming winter period. The interruption will be effective from October 1, 2018 until March 30, 2019. (...) During the pause Air Belgium will continue operating for other legacy airlines and focus on launching its air service to Mainland China, such as Zhengzhou. We are maintaining our development plans."

The fact that even good informed people on this forum didn't get this message, is then again a proof that they should indeed drastically improve their communication...

« We are maintaining our development plans ». Sure you are. We just all wonder when they’ll become a sustainable reality... Up to now, it’s a a complete different story compared to what’s been told at the beginning.

Air Belgium is doing a governmental flight between Charles-de-Gaulle and somewhere via somewhere else !

KF330P CRL - CDG 16:00 - 17:30 A343 OO-ABA 28/10/2018
XXXxxx CDG - XXX 08:40 - xx:xx A343 OO-ABA 29/10/2018
XXXxxx XXX - XXX xx:xx - xx:xx A343 OO-ABA 30/10/2018

More details soon ;)

OO-ABE is currently coming back from Tenerife South to Charleroi, as it flew for TUI as flight TB5753 (Brussels flight transfered to Charleroi due to Aviapartner strike), should depart during the beginning of next week to Liège for some touch and goes. Too early to say when exactly.
