According to Skyliner an LH A333 D-AIKJ has been flown to MLA for preparations prior entry with SN to fly the EW-OPS. 3 other A330 will follow, and the A343 currently in Service will go back to LH...

The 4 A330 that will join for EW ops are 701 (SFJ), 570 (SFK), 645 and 648, all by the end of next year. The 2 A340's are going to leave the fleet next year.

OO-SFO hasn't been in the air for more than 10 days. Early winter maintenance check or exit from the fleet?

I hope the fleet renewal means also a better fleet management. With some evening flights constantly being significantly delayed and weekend flights suddenly cancelled, the performance of SN has seen better days. The well-known "due to late arrival of the aircraft from previous destination"-excuse is none if you look into the schedule of some aircraft.

Of course, what did you expect? It's an ex-LH aircraft coming to SN purely for the purpose of operating wet-lease for EW replacing a A340.
This has nothing to do with the ex-SQ and ex-CX aircraft that will replace SN's own A330's and will simply fly in SN livery (with at least 3 already in SN livery: SFC in operation and 2 in storage in BRU).

Or will people now also complain that a wet-lease 'customer' on which SN is making a specific profit margin demands to have aircraft in their own livery?!

Totally agree! I somehow missed this kind of "motivated by an extra portion of national pride" ranting and whining you mentioned when SN got their first SSJ painted in SN livery, although operated by CityJet...
