Operating cost analysis :B788, A338, B789, A339

An interesting article from airwaysnews comparing the lowest capacity twin-aisle models from Boeing and Airbus in terms of capability and cost ...
They seem to be very close cost wise although with a tiny advantage to both Boeing products.
Not bad for Airbus models noting the neo product being the latest iteration from an aircraft produced 25 yrs ago ...

Has anyone seen a cost comparison of the 747 freighter conversions vs a new-gen A-380 freighter con.
This would entail a modified , shortened upper deck equipped to load/unload small cargo items to a large cave-type section between the cockpit and wing . The freight-loading door would be fuselage tall , to accommodate oversized items . This capability would balance out the 747s nose-loading advantage . Increasing the engine thrust , and reinforcing the structure would allow the A-380 to fly fully cargo-packed , thus matching the 747 on a cost-per basis .
Any thoughts ? P.M.

You would be facing many problems, cargo door and stronger floors would, beside the huge certification cost, increase the dry operating weight a lot. The A380 is often zero fuel weight limited, it is designed to carry an average load over a long distance, whilst freighters need to carry a lot of weight over average distances.
I don’t think an A380 converted freighter would be economically viable.
