New uniform for cabin and cockpit crew. The Antwerp-based airline has dropped the "airlines" and is now branding as VLM .

VLM flights to/fm BHX can not be booked after August 10th. are they already stopping the route? or just suspending for a while?

I could understand why they stop the route looking at their load factors for April and May.
April: 16,5%
May: 21%

The main reason? Once again: there was too little time between announcing the new route and operating the first flight. In stead of pushing their Sales department to do their upmost, airlines need to ask them "how much time do you need to sell it before we start flying there?"

What's happening with the VLM tariffs between ANR and MUC,ABZ,MAN? as from sept/oct 2018 they are rather high as compared to fares on other VLM-city pairs. e.g. MUC return of EUR 472 as from early september...

I was considering to book a city-trip to Scotland or MUC for me and my wife in sept, but with these tariffs it is out of the question.

Oh dear, we have seen this before... Can't remember where exactly. Back then it was followed by an announcement of the closure of that particular route.

Hope they have the chance to as I think they must have burnt a lot of money with all the routes starting and cutting, the relatively low flight rates in combination with the low load factors.

Damn ! I was planning on flying to ABZ in november. Not at these prices, I won't! Is it naughty of me to think that VLM may not make it into 2019?

Hi,

Higher fares is a strong a very strong indication that a route can be dropped soon and thé higher fare also includes a rebooking in another airlines !
