Not sure whether it had any impact on operations, but an emergency slide was accidentally activated on FWF earlier today.

And yet another one: EI-FWE that had been AOG for days had just taken off to BMA as SN2303, but after a few loops above Belgium, it came back to base after a 30 minutes "flight".

This plane and the use that SN makes are just a gigantic joke! At the expense of passengers ! Not professionnal at all !
Re: The CityJet Sukhoi SSJ100-95 saga is hurting Brussels Airlines
Indeed. Three Belgian airlines face a similar problem. Brussels Airlines with their Cityjet-SSJ-operations, TUI with their ANR-ERJ-operations, and Air Belgium with a very early C-check on ABA.

It says here that Cityjet's Sukhois are used to fly to Billund. I flew Brussels Airlines to Billund last year and that was a FlyBe aircraft. Has Brussels Airlines stopped using FlyBe?

Not directly related to the SSJ100 saga, although...
Air Nostrum (Spain) and CityJet (Ireland) signed a cooperation agreement to integrate fleets and crew, pending government approval. The new holding company would have a combined fleet of close to 100 aircraft, and annual revenues circa €700 million.
Will the new integrated company be able to handle the SSJ100 issue better? Let's hope...

And now, back on topic:
Brussels Airlines hopes to phase out the four SSJ100s wet-leased from CityJet ahead of the March 2019 expiration date, as the Belgian carrier is not satisfied with the availability of the aircraft overall. Capacity will be made up with other CityJet aircraft, with another partner, or with their own aircraft.

Per FR24, there are currently five SSJs currently flying for Brussels Airlines: EI-FWA, -FWC, -FWE, -FWF, and -FWG. I thought the contract only called for 4?
Re: The CityJet Sukhoi SSJ100-95 saga is hurting Brussels Airlines
The Brussels Airlines inflight magazine also mentions 5 SSJs.

The remaining CityJet's aircraft have been operating for SN as their last flights:
- EI-FWB : stored in VCE since 11JUN18
- EI-FWD : stored in BRU since 20JUN18
What will happen with those aircraft in the future ?

After the unlikely problems related to the SSJ, Cityjet will she keep the contract with SN but on another type of plane ?
Re: The CityJet Sukhoi SSJ100-95 saga is hurting Brussels Airlines
EI-FWD is the SSJ which had an incident upon landing on June 20th. I guess it’s still not fixed.
