Indeed, but Indigo is an Indian airline and not related to Air Belgium nor the future Air Belgium destinations ;-)

Also in that article: "...Het tweede vertrek vanuit Charleroi, op woensdag 6 juni, wordt de "inaugurale vlucht". Er zullen dan de nodige festiviteiten plaatsvinden..." Translated: the second departure out of Charleroi, on Wednesday 06th June, is regarded as the inaugural flight, with (official) festivities.

Luckily they decided to do so. It would be strange/bitter/painfull for Air France to see Air Belgium having a party at CRL, whilst AB-passengers are stranded at Libreville and Paris.

And at least some paying cargo then...? :? Or no cargo at all for the time being? even when no 'full' Pax loads?

确实
OK, for those of you who are too lazy to look up in Google Translate:

The first Belgian flight between Charleroi Airport in southern Brussels and Hong Kong is leaving!

Indeed

I know that Air Belgium, with OO-ABA AOG in Libreville, has other things in mind now then joining social media discussions. But they should at least react to the above travel press statement.

What should they say? Better to not generate any extra attention to the abysmal number imo.

So it's the bargain of the season... No need to pay for Business Class. Buy an Economy ticket and get a perfect sleep on the 4 seats in the middle... I would not doubt if my agenda had HKG in the upcoming weeks... The late opening of booking facilities is one of the main reasons IMHO. Tourism and VFR pax do not decide 2 weeks in advance for such destination... Wishing them lots of luck though !

And what will the return flight bring, pax wise??

At least they got some favorable tailwinds, currently almost an hour ahead of schedule...
