Strangely enough, the A340-300 PZ-TCR from Surinam Airways is now in BRU.

Apparently for maintenance (scheduled or unscheduled). That's the reason they need Air Belgium to operate today's flight ex AMS.

Best regards,

And meanwhile, Flightradar24 shows "ENGRUN02" for Surinam Airways' own A340-300 PZ-TCR:

Flightradar24 says 3 hours and 16 minutes late on arrival. Scheduled arrival: 19:45 uur. Actual arrival: 23:01 uur. I have no idea who is gonna pay the pax compensation. Who is responsible? Whats in the contract? Fact is AB arrival on Schiphol was way to late for proper preparations. How can you prepare a aircraft in 45 minutes? I bet Surinam Airways gonna bring that up as an argument.

45 minutes is not much for such a plane and a load of approx 250 (?) pax.
Maybe catering was already onboard from Brussels, but they had to refuel for the trip to Paramaribo anyway and embarking also takes some time... Since it was their first commercial flight, maybe they also had to fulfill some extra paperwork/prepayments to obtain the fuel in AMS and catering ...How well was this organized upfront? Same remark for the problem with the flap..who did fix that one?

When the return flight Paramaribo-Amsterdam goes as planned, OO-ABA is expected to land back in Brussels on Saturday 31st March around 09h45 local time (AMS-BRU will be PY-3003, ETD 09h15 local).

Is the ABA coming back to BRU or will it position itself towards CRL?

It won't position itself, but I'm guessing the pilots will position it back to BRU as it's easier to park it there than in CRL.

In the meantime PZ-TCR airborne from BRU as SLM3002 to AMS.

The AMS-system shows PY-3003 from AMS to BRU.
