You will be soon able to book EW flights on the Brussels Airlines flight.
Like it is already possible to book all the Brussels Airlines flights on LH.
It will be possible this year to book SN flights via LH , LX , EW ...
Something long overdue, IMHO.
I've never understood why there's not an automatic full set of flight codes of the entire Lufthansa group airlines on all of the Lufthansa group flights, at least within Europe?!
Commercially, much more integration is definitely possible still.
Cathay Pacific CX339 has taken off at 01:02 HKT (18:02) from Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok International Airport to Brussels Airport.
Historical world airline, historical first ever passenger flight between Belgium and Hong-Kong if I'm right.
Greater China/ Hong Kong is developing from BRU. Asia too. Next good news : SQ which is high on the list ? Or OZ a bit later ?
Beside the mainstream about beautiful 'aerosmurf' and
the handsome CX A350-900, thanks for all the beautiful reports and pictures, the first flight of A9, Georgian airways from/to TBS is more confidential today. Using the ER190.

It depends on how much “display” an airline wants to their new aircraft/destination. If e.g. we were invited on the first flight, we would be overjoyed to write a trip report about it
IBERIA during the month of August 2018 is adjusting Madrid – Brussels operation, where 1 of 4 daily service sees Air Nostrum CRJ1000 aircraft operating, instead of Airbus A319 aircraft. Operational schedule of the CRJ1000 service from 01AUG18 to 31AUG18 as follows.
IB8854 MAD0900 – 1115BRU CRK D
IB8855 BRU1200 – 1420MAD CRK D
Still, LH considers there is no room for additional l/h SN flights!
Maybe too late now; several lost qpportunities already, and not only in Asia.
Or maybe too soon. And LH considers 2019 - 2020 before to make further decisions and announcements, and it seems that LH has the power to open some new markets for SN in spite of competition. Nevertheless/ of course they must reach profitability.

LH is looking for profitable l/h flights. Out of those 6 routes 3 are operated by heavily subsidized Chinese carriers, and 2 by loss-making airlines (CX, TG). Moreover all these airports are much larger than BRU and BRU can offer 0 (!) unique connections to passengers from any of these destinations, while all of these destinations can offer unique connections to passengers from BRU.
I'm not saying LH is right in their considerations, but this list of flights definitely doesn't show they're wrong as you imply.
