I don't think so... But it could be Belgium, Air Belgium or even Atomium
And I thought of this, 15 minutes ago. Their callsign could be Oscar Oscar Alpha Bravo Alpha because they don't have their AOC, so they can't use the ABB code...
Btw ! airbelgium will also have a german part on their site.

OH-LQB is probably scrapped in the Finnish register.
I would go for OO-ABA indeed, as that's now the official reg since 16/02/2018.
If not, it will be F-WXAB = the reg from the Airbus Finance positioning flight to Tarbes.

That's the x amount of time they say "the AOC will arrive in the next couple of days". Does anyone believe them?

I do believe them.
They have an obvious issue with planification, but there are now enough evidence (CAMO, registration, hopefully an A/C today) that they are close to it.

I know from experience that getting an approval from the authority (wether it's BCAA or EASA) is not a simple task. Many of you seems focused on the business plan issue, but Part ORO asks for much more things. You can talk about a procedure or template during several weeks before reaching something that is usefull for the organisation and acceptable by the authority. But to my knowledge, these discussion are often constructive and bi-lateral.

The devils lies in the détails, and you all probably know that is even more the case in the frame of aviation...

For some people, OO-ABA has landed at Brussels Airport on Wednesday evening, somewhere between 18h and 19h. That's what the readers from La Libre Belgique probably believe:

I also listened to the interview of Niky Terzakis. He says that the AOC requires a lot of work and was only requested last November. He also lauded the fantastic work done together with the BCAA to deliver the AOC. So, yes, I believe them.

He confirmed the first flight at the end of March or early April depending on the delivery of the AOC.

I sent a tweet to the journalist, no answer...
Pagtour is not really a good website, because they use a Photoshop of an A380 TC and they say "A330" instead of A320 about the share of TCAB's end...
A bit off-topic, I agree.

I also believe them. But it's unbelievable they have asked for their AOC in November...

Their statement "we have to blame ourselves" is only ment to avoid a further delay by the Belgian CAA. It would be unwise for Air Belgium to state the Belgian CAA deliberately delayed the AOC delivery.

Maybe the Belgian CAA is awaiting publication in Belgium's State Gazette of their new capital structure? According to the published documents in the State Gazette and their published annual account (NBB/BNB), their capital/kapitaal is 200.000 Euro. According to the Kruispuntbank Ondernemingen (KBO) / Banque-Carrefour des Entreprises (BCE) it's 18.639.000 Euro. Could it be that the Belgian CAA refuses to accept the official document from the notaris/notaire about this change, and only believes the capital raise when it''s published in the Belgian State Gazette?

(unless the KBO/BCE is wrong of course).
