Why not start this thread with a diversion on 1 January?

Looks like they noticed a problem on departure from EPKK, see "hesitation" below.
Screenshot 2018-01-10 20.48.05.png

Did they stop at the crossing with RWY 15-33 that led to closing the AD or is it because of the drain on emergency resources?

Currently still no traffic and AD closed (estimated) until 23:30 local per Notam

El Al Airlines flight #LY8 (Boeing 747-400 JFK-TLV reg. 4X-ELA) diverted to Goose Bay (apparently a frequent destination for diversions) after declaring a Mayday with ATC due to a temperature/fire indication warning in the wheel well.

Norwegian flight #DY1156 (Oslo-Munich, B737-800 reg. LN-DYE) with 84 plumbers on board was forced to return to Oslo because of a problem with the toilets on board. :o

We would have liked to fix the restrooms, but unfortunately, it had to be done from the outside and we did not take the opportunity to send a plumber outside at 10,000 meters.’ - Frank Olsen of Rørkjøp, speaking to Dagbladet. :)

Diversion due snow and bad RSCD at LGG.

A TUI fly plane was also holding before landing at LGG at the same moment. https://www.flightradar24.com/data/flig ... /#1059893c
