In the past, Pan Am has an around-the-world route called PA1 (and PA2 in the opposite direction). Not sure how long this flight took to circumnavigate the world.

Would be much more of a signal if they would've been both male/female

While checking a point on FR24 this afternoon, and having the In/Out BRU filter on, I stumbled on this lone bird.
Flying out of BRU, a BBJ and a reg totally unfamiliar to me.

Screenshot 2018-01-23 17.20.32.png

By looking at the odd route I imagine this could be the taxi bringing Mahmoud Abbas back home (or almost) after his meetings in Brussels.

This bird is owned by Arab Wings, based in Amman. But I admit that the T7 prefix was rather odd to me.
Had to Google to find out it is registered in... San Marino.

According to Airfleets.net it has been delivered (second hand) to Arab Wings ... last Saturday.

So new that Arab Wings has not yet updated their web site.

But Aviation24.be was keeping a watchful eye 8-)

Per Instagram, an A330 of BEL (my guess, SFT) seems to be getting a sticker on at least the left hand side of the aircraft promoting diamond trade in Belgium?
The slogan seems to be “In Belgium, we speak diamond.”

Nice catch indeed. Does San Marino even have an airport?

Monaco only has an heliport and the Monaco registered planes fly out of Nice.

Of course the Serenissima Repubblica di San Marino has an airport, well an "Aviosuperficie" ;)

And after all, you can register a merchant ship in Mongolia or Bolivia ...

Edited : "register a merchant" to "register a merchant ship"

Veel pech dinsdag voor passagiers op het vliegveld van Bonaire. Door een vete tussen afhandelingsbedrijven liepen ze veel vertraging op.

On Friday evening, near the Federal Police heli platform Brussels Airport, a guy pointed a laser pen to the pilot of a police helicopter that was about to land. Instead of landing, the police helicopter took off again, followed the guy who fled by car, and guided a police team on the ground to the suspect. He was arrested, and released after he signed a Police court appearance for end of February 2018.

One must be stupid to toy with these laser thingies anyway, but to point one at a police helo is the bottom! Well done on the police team, kudos!

Another bit of first class journalism: according to VRT Radio News, a Pilatus PC12 is a jet!

A power bank caught fire during disembarkation at Volgograd Airport (Aeroflot flight SU1182)

Paul Neon was a passenger on board the A320 (VQ-BPU) and explains on Facebook: “After landing, during disembarkation at Volgograd Airport the device caught fire, the portable charger was under the seat of one of the passengers. Heavy smoke began to spread through the cabin and the fire was quickly extinguished. However, some passengers started to panic and one of them started to shout “fire”. Others then quickly opened the emergency overwing exits.

Yes, and a taxi driver, passing by, captured the event with his dashcam.

If you would ask me 'what are some of the noisiest small twins?', Cessna 404 Titan II (OO-GPS) and Cessna 337D Super Skymaster (F-HCOM) certainly would cross my mind....
Way to go, aerial survey companies
