Have they told Ryanair/Wizzair/Jetair that each time a A340 (or any aircraft of the same category) operates in CRL:
- it blocks several parking stands
- it blocks all the traffic on the apron (impossible to overtake it like two B737 or A320 can do)
- once it uses the taxiway south, no other movement is allowed on the RUNWAY (taxiway too close)
- it will need a backtrack to depart from the beginning of runway 07 (most of the current operators depart without backtrack)

Therefore, operating a wide body in CRL is going to create important delay to other operators.

So am I reading correctly that Air Belgium will start accepting reservations and the end of this month for flights starting the end of next month?
Find it very optimist to expect to carry a decent load given only 4 weeks from the start when other airlines give themselves 6 months which is what Cathay has done for their HKG-BRU route.
But anyway good luck to Air Belgium and hope to see them in the air very soon and very successfully!

I'm just wondering how they'll handle the luggage. It will take a hell of a time to transfer luggage from the North Terminal (where the automated baggage sorting system is located) to the South one with their "Mulag" (or vice versa). By the way, the South Terminal has not an automated baggage sorting system...

Edit: Moreover, as stated below regarding the bus, I don't see Mulags driving on the taxiway and crossing the runway to bring luggage from the North Terminal to the South Terminal... It's completely inefficient. Therefore, I'd like to know where the information stating that "Premium passengers will use the refurbished South Terminal, but Economy passengers will use the regular one" comes from...

Unfeasable. Passengers have to be transfered airside and I can't imagine a bus riding on the taxiway and crossing the runway.

It might be the other way around: premium passengers (and their luggage) bussed to the North terminal?

I will ask Jean-Jacques Cloquet next time I see him (I invited him for a conference to his former colleagues of Solvay in March).
