The first new boarding bridges seem to have been delivered and are pretty much ready for installation, from what I can see :-)

The EK evening flight often has light loads, so I'm not sure that they will keep the 2 daily flights once they start with the A380, but we'll see...

We'll see the loadfactors and the board decisions.
Also if candidates when the A380 gate will be operational.
EK possibilities are wider with twice daily connections, dus they fly double daily now.

- Nice new destinations in Asia. let us hope AB joins with some nice Chinese destinations extra .
- SN a bit deceiving with holiday detinations, nothing for business destinations: Bremen gone,
no Luxembourg, Glasgow, other British cities, Stavanger, new destinations to booming Polish cities , second daily to Moscow, ..
- SN USA & CANADA: Montreal, Boston, LAX, Frisco ? ? NOTHING; Asia maybe ??
- Tuifly : nice development for their business model, look forward to see their second Dreamliner, more flights to Cancun, Miami ??
- growth for BRU will have to come from foreign airlines

I think Brussels Airlines is offering a lot more seats than last year's because the A320,A319 replacing the Avro's that's also a growth.....

Reservation is only available at full-fare Business and Economy Class at present time.
The press is reporting financial woes at HNA, Hainan’s parent company.
Aircraft deliveries are delayed due to lack of money, this could delay the opening of new routes.

With 2 months left til the launch of the 2 weekly flights on any 787 dreamliner, no sign of cancellation noticeable on the website of HU.
Bookings are open online, for example for 20 March and back on 29 March, 2018. Tickets prices from 446€40 and return.
For the week of 20 March 2018, service is operated by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, switching to 787-8 from 25 March 2018.

Yes, these are their hubs, but at BRU, before the attacks, an early afternoon flight by UA to EWR (maybe using a 757) was planned to fil the gap with 9W. Sometimes IAH is debatable. In cooperation with * and SN.
DL went back to ATL last year. But it seems there is a long way to decide on something more.
Cheers

Their afternoon flight was planned indeed on 757 as UA45/44, they're still working on it but might only be seasonal as during the winter season they downgrade it to 767-400. EWR works still very well out of BRU with a 100% load factor and lots of code sharing on SN flights out of BRU

Yesterday morning, I was talking with an ANA BE employee, at the Salon des Vacances at Brussels. I asked him over upgrades or 2nd daily... But still bad news. Nothing will be done in the near future. ANA BE employees would have an upgrade or a 2nd flight but as he said me, the Japaneses are really careful, they do step by step, so it could be in 2019 I think. But at least not for the summer season.

It seems Blue Air will fly from my city to Zaventem. First flight on 16th of June. According to information on fly-ra forum, it will be two weekely, on Wednesday and Saturday, as follows:

0B3723: Cluj Napoca (CLJ) 13:00 – 15:30 Bruxelles (BRU);
0B3724: Bruxelles (BRU) 16:15 – 18:45 Cluj Napoca (CLJ).

Fun fact: local media asked BMS; a PR rep. denied the launch of the new flights...

---------------

Currently Cluj is already linked to CRL by Wizz. 3/7 in W17/18 and 5/7 in S18. Considering the prices, the yield must be preatty good. Personally I'm not a fan of CRL.

---------------

One of the four shareholders of BMS resides in Belgium and owns Maxitours travel agency.
