50 minutes rotation in BRU, quite quickly I think...
Quickly indeed. Also because they'll (probably) be using their 220-seat a321, since they don't operate a320 aircraft anymore (since october 2016). Compare it with this: Icelandair's Boeing 752 has 183 seats and uses a TAT of 65 minutes at BRU.

Year-round service or just seasonal?

200 seat A321 indeed in the following configuration:

(27x XL seat, 34x XXL seat, 139 regular (cramped cattle) Y seat)

FR can turn around a full (189 seats) 738 in less than half the time. It's all a matter of how you organise the process. For Icelandair it is no goal to turn around as quickly as possible at the cost of 'service' (catering, much more baggage, possibly cargo(?), cleaning, ... ).

In summer Icelandair has a turnaround of 70 min and with current winter schedule it's 65 min. If delayed they still take into account 60 min for the turnaround. Although Icelandair doesn't have more pax on its B757 than WOW Air in its A321, they often transport tons of fish as cargo which takes quite some time to unload as well.

Inspired by another topic, I checked brusselsairlines.com and… Palma de Mallorca seems to become one of SN's new leisure destinations in 2017:

"Please be informed that we will start flying to Palma de Mallorca as of 29 April 2017."

Operated by Eurowings…?

I was pretty sure t would be comig, but as eurowings is opening a based there i had a small doubt it would be operated by SN.

By the way Mallorca used to be a Brussels Airlines destination in the past :-)

Qeshm Air (an airline from Iran) will launch service from the northwestern city of Tabriz to Hamburg in near future. The carrier also applied to launch service to Stockholm, Cologne, Amsterdam, Paris and Brussels as a number of A330s enter the fleet. Currently operations will likely be on-board one of the carrier's three A320-200s or five A300-600s.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Etihad Airways announce a (major) expansion at our national Airport? I read somewhere they would come double daily, but already a long time ago... anybody more news on it? Did they mean the new cargo flights?

Btw, didn't know where to put it else, so sorry for the off topic-ness.

It's virtually every year that they request double daily slots but in the end they keep their 8x weekly schedule.

Yes, but that was for flights to Izmir.

They will extend the flights to Izmir from 2 to 3 and start the flights to Ankara.
After the succesful launch of direct flights to Izmir last summer, SunExpress will add direct flights to Ankara during summer 2017. As from 22 June, until late September, the flights to Turkey's capital will operate twice a week, while a 3rd weekly frequency is being added to the Izmir route.
