I flew with METRO AIRLINES Boeing 747-200 from BRU to JFK december 18th Dec. 1982 and return JFK-BRU on 6 th Jan. 1983, route was also JFK/BRU/TLV. Later it became Tower Air.

When lookin at previous poster SLM a bell rang : somewhere early 2000's there was a (temporary) link Brussels - Paramaribo by Surinaamse Luchtvaartmaatschappij SLM as there were some diplomatic problems between Surinam and Dutch government.

Not much info available on frequency , duration of this operation and aircraft type...

Scanning through the previous posts I didn't see the obvious Delta Air Transport ( DAT), the Sabena subsidiary that, I think, owned all the 32 Avros and later became SN Brussels Airlines.

I initiated this post which will remember a lot of airlines that operated at BRU .

But initially I wanted to know which ones could return at BRU. I thought AF from Nice or SQ from Singapore or OZ from Incheon, CU from Havana or LG from LUX etc. etc.
I also know that those that no longer exist no longer return . But those still flying ?
:-) Thank's

Flights where operated by the 767-300ER of Citybird. Frequency I can't remember well, 2-3 a week I guess.
