Welcome to Luchtzak, Falcon16xl.

There is at least one more plane, probably an Embraer of the Belgian Air Force, carrying King Philip and some Ministers and their suite.

Based on the Brussels Airport site, the normal scheduled flight SN3555/6 had an upgrade from A319 to A320 on 18 June.

The same happened a week ago with the Lyon flights.

They traveled on Multiflight Ltd's 9H-MTF, a Boeing 737-300 first delivered to Sabena as OO-SDY in September 1987.

the last two numbers of 737-329, so the"29"" were Sabena's personal code at Boeing. all planed ending in 29 were originally delivered to Sabena.

Correct. Each customer has a unique code with Boeing, this code forms the last part of the type, when it's given to a plane it doesn't change anymore even when the plane changes hands. So a plane originally ordered by Sabena or Sobelair with Boeing will always remains a -x29 plane despite plane may end it with KLM for example who has the -x06 customer code. After Sabena went bankrupt Boeing kept the "29" code for it's successor and is currently assigned to Brussels Airlines. So in the very unlikely event that Brussels Airlines would order a brand new plane directly from Boeing those planes would also receive the "29" code as part of the type. Customer codes are unique and are only transferred to the direct successor of the airline. Oh and to make it more interesting: Customer code 06 (KLM) was designated later than customer code 29 (Sabena). Boeing started their original customer codes with x21 to x99, the second sequence was 01 to 19, followed with another sequence (mixed numbers/letters) etc...

All the specific paperwork of a plane will state thus 737-329 for example instead of 737-300.

AFAIK these planes were produced by Boeing for Sabena (or Sobelair):

707-329 (7 planes)
707-329C (7 planes)
727-29 (2 planes)
727-29C (3 planes)
737-229 (14 planes)
737-229C (5 planes)
737-329 (7 planes)
737-429 (4 planes)
737-529 (6 planes)
747-129 (Later converted to 747-129M) (2 planes)
747-329M (2 planes)

The use of customer codes was sort of discontinued with the introduction of the Boeing 787. Most Boeing 787's are registered as a Boeing 787-8 or 787-9 without the customer code although I think there are some out there that are registered with a customer code. All other planes (737,747,767 and 777 are still being delivered with unique customer codes which form part of the type)

Not really on topic, but interesting.
Sabena also bought (?) 727s (5?); any data on those?
