330/350 have a common type rating btw, your welcome
Only for flight crew...
Maintenance is a completely other story... Not even a simple typerating is sufficient, but additional training into new construction technology is required for certifying staff.
Not a bridge that can't be crossed, but not nearly as easy as you think...
I was indeed talking from a flight/Cabin crew perspective. I understand that due to the difference in construction method/material the maintenance perspective is totally different

Why would the A350 overkill many of the routes of SN, the A350 has 3 size, the smallest of the A350, the A350-800 is smaller than the A330-300.
The A350 would definitely be a good solution for the long haul fleet!
The A350-800 has been cancelled, the -900's the smallest. And the problem isn't so much the size of the A350, it's that it's 'too much airplane' for the route structure. SN doesn't need the A350's range, the A330neo will do just fine. Airlines like TAP and Aer Lingus are coming to the same conclusion and are reversing course on their earlier decisions to order the A350. TAP has already switched to the 330neo, Aer Lingus will likely do the same.

OO-DWF was returned to the lessor, this was in Cranfield airport. (EGTC)
Cranfield doesn't have a 3-letter code, perhaps that's why the system got confused.
Indeed, she left BHX soon after landing there then went for Cranfield University field. On the way OO-DWF overflew the old RAE ar Bedford, the birth place of the BAe / Avro.

OO-DWF is parked in front of our University its B737 awaiting its fate.
Picture from our classroom, sorry for bad quality, had to zoom in with phone.
I am not sure the A339 will perform so much better on shorter missions (let's say 6 hours) compared to the current A333. I will be very curious to see the real performance figures of the plane once it's flying.
Therefore I also believe the latest copies of the A333, once available, will do all right in sn's future fleet.
The NEO would come handy on longer missions, however those are unexisting in present day network.
A second SN RJ100 arrived at Cranfield today, registration is covered so no idea which one this is, couldn't find more information on FR24, anyone an idea which one this could be?
Bad quality again (I don't have my camera with me at uni).

Only based upon elimination on Flightradar.com info, I would go for OO-DWD.
Flightradar shows flight details for all other RJ1H's today. OO-DWD's last revenue flight on Flightradar was yesterday.
