Re: Airlines that flew from BRU
Air Mauritius used to fly to MRU, I think via ZRH? Or was it MRU-BRU-MAN at once stage? I can't recall...on both A340 and B767 I think.
bmi of course used to fly to BRU before they disappeared (though of course bmi Regional continue today).

Welcome BRU2MRU!

Thanks! I was on the forum briefly a few years ago with the same username and continued to look at the website over those years, but I forgot my password in the meantime so re-registered
Re: Airlines that flew from BRU
Indeed, Air Mauritius did fly to BRU. In 2003 they operated the flight via ZRH (flight MK060). Here are some pics I made on a spring evening in June 2003.BRU2MRU wrote:Air Mauritius used to fly to MRU, I think via ZRH? Or was it MRU-BRU-MAN at once stage? Also, Citybird does not exist anymore, but I loved its livery (and ATC callsign as well: 'dreamflight'). Flew BRU-LAX with them and OAK-BRU in July 1998.
Best regards,
Ivan

And everyone forgets the major airline that flew out of BRU: Sabena!
Also not to forget some other Belgian airlines that went down the drain: BIAS, Air Belgium, Sobelair, TEA, Virgin Express, VG Airlines -> Delsey Airlines, ...

The day Virgin Express disappeared, it was also the case for SN Brussels Airlines.
About the possible relaunch of the seasonal AA PHL - BRU route next year, I have some doubts about it (even if I'd love it!) due to the route performance described in an other topic. LF was 40% on average
if I remember well...
On a side note, how I would love the return of Singapore Airlines at BRU!
