With OO-JDL operational again, Jetair's intercontinental schedule is back to normal.

Hi there,

I just checked the flights to the caribbean with Jetairfly for october. On sundays they offer a flight to Montego Bay (MBJ) via Santo Domingo (SDQ) and another flight to Cancun (CUN) nonstop.I'm wondering with which airplane they serve these routes... Searching the internet, I found out, that both routes go with a 787-8, but with only one Dreamliner in service for Jetairfly this is impossible. Will they get a second Dreamliner or do they "borrow" another one from the TUI fleet?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Mitchi

As all planes of TUI get standardized I guess it will be a lender bird if t doesn't fit in one schedule.

Arkefly will officially be renamed TUI on October 1st 2015. I don't know the date for Jetairfly, but it will also happen.
The date for the name change into TUI has been set: it's Saturday 01 October 2016. All brand names will then change into TUI.

Hi,

thanks for your welcome and your answers. So it could be, that (if we take a flight to CUN) we'll sit in a 787 from Arke/TUI Netherlands or Thomson?
But what about the seat configurations? Jetairfly's Dreamliner can carry up to 300 pax, Thomson's only 288 pax and TUIfly Netherlands 291 pax. Will the configurations be adapted for all of TUI's Dreamliners?

Bye

The Jetairfly 788 is no longer. Now OO-JDL is in TUI colours... (as seen in Manchester)

It seems that, contrary to JNL, JDL kept the Belgian flag after repaint?

Indeed, but the EU flag has gone down the drain... Because of a possible Brexit?

What about the JAF 737's? Do they start to repaint them in 2016?

I noticed on this one the Belgian flag is still present in contrast to OO-JNL which also has the 'new' TUI livery...
edit: OK, I'm not the first to notice

Also worth to be noticed is that the plane retained the famous signature of Panamarenko

What a pity, Jetairfly is eaten by this ugly TUI

There wasn't a EU flag on the plane.

The only things that changed:

- Jetairfly removed
- Very small "world of tui" decal next to the cockpit removed
- tui applied
- Diamond removed from under Jetairfly titles
- Diamond in a smaller font re-applied next to the cockpit windows

That's it, no flags are missing.

The EU flag appears only on B737 and EMB ;) :

You missed the TUI logo and name painted on the belly ;) Head up next time when it over flies you guys 8-)

About OO-JAF, you should pay some attention to it when it returns at the end of the week... 8-)
