No compensation however for the players, their wives/girlfriends, the staff and other AA Gent people who travel for free: they're excluded for 261/2004. Supporters could claim indeminity indeed, but relevant for the "3 hours delay" is how the flight schedule was announced to them (and that was probably not the flightradar24 schedule). Unfortunately, the program has been removed from http://www.kaagenttravel.be/programma, so we don't know for sure.

Anyway : Anderlecht left on time this morning, at 07h05: SN-1181 Brussels-Baku. Arrival there is at 15h15 (three hour time difference). Return flight is SN-1182 on Friday: Baku 15h55 Brussels 18h40.

OO-JVA and OO-CAN both diverted to BRU after circling around OST last night due to the dense fog at the airport.

Two other aircraft inbound for Lyon went into a short holding there. Don't know if that holding was related to the above AH-2063 divertion.

An Egyptian Tristar Air Airbus A300 cargo flight from Ostend via Cairo to Mogadishu had to make an emergency open field landing 12nm of Magadishu. No fatalities, two with minor injuries.

Md11 from global africa aviation circling a lot above Liege
http://www.flightradar24.com/GAA0800P/7afeca7
Very foggy
In the same time, ERJ-135 to munich had no problem to take off.
They use a different version of the ILS ? What could be the reason ?

The minima for take off are quite a bit lower than for landing (except for CATIIIb then). Also, the MD11 might have a failure which prevents it from a CATIII landing

Taking off in Wx conditions that doesn't allow for landing in case of a blop after V1 is an interesting gamble.

Jetairfly's Boeing 787 OO-JDL is currently being repaired in Cancun after a birdstrike. The passengers are staying in nearby hotels and will fly back to Belgium after the aircraft is repaired.

In that case, you would plan your flight accordingly, with an alternate airport in place for your departure airfield. So yes, it can be done.

Indeed, you would need a departure alternate

According to my info, at least 2x B747F (OO-THA & OO-THB) and 1x B737F of TNT have diverted to BRU.

Best regards,
