Any idea why?
Well JAF503 had left BRU for CUN with a 5-hour delay...

And I guess I know your next question ;)

:thumbup:

DL has been running late since the diversion to BOS on Monday.
She was due for a hangar visit on Thursday afternoon but her late landing couldn't be coped with and she was released again with a delay yesterday.

Seems today the domino effect has even aggravated as JAF/TB 601 left this afternoon, a 7-hour delay on the 09:05 STD.

Let's skip tomorrow Q&A then. ;)

Cheers.

First commercial flight for OO-SFN after maintenance in LIS...
Reason for the return: loss of one of the hydraulic systems - no emergency call - then burning off fuel.

Yesterday's JAF-623 and today's JAF-624, AMS-Miami-AMS, are also delayed. JAF-624 is expected to arrive at 20h15 tonight (ETA was 11h35). Aircraft is not OO-JAP but Hi Fly A340-300 CS-TQY

Strange flight path of SN3598 (MRS - BRU). Lowest altitude was around 1300ft just west of Hasselt.

I had just seen that too.
Ended up with altitude 000, negative v/s and gdn speed 43 kts ... :o

I guess that it is a bug at FR24 and that it landed straight instead of going into this apparent circling at below 3000 ft.
Radar feed was EBBR13.
Weird.

All safe and landed 15:21L.

SN3716 ARJ100 from Bilbao, STA 08:35, ETA 20:34, i.e. 12 hrs delay. Any reason known?

(Looking for this flight in FR24, I saw that SN3716 is at the same time the number for BIO-BRU by AR1 and for BRU-VCE by 319: strange!)

BIO-BRU was delayed due to the fact that the BRU-BIO aircraft used for the incoming flight had electrical problems. A technician had to be sent from BRU to fix the aircraft.

Another weather-related diversion: Transavia HV514 from Tenerife and Lanzarote diverted to Eindhoven. Now back in BRU.

Was there so much delay at EBBR? 2 Complete holding patterns. With the predicted wx, not much if you ask me. Unless if EBBR was closed off course.

Some flights were on schedule and some were delayed (don't know if this was because of late departure of the outgoing, or because of going into holding). As far as I know, only Ryanair FR-2922 and Transavia HV-514 diverted:

17h50 : SN3622 -> 18h27 (Nice)
18h00 : SN2836 -> 19h02 (Moscow)
18h10 : IB3214 –> 18h21 (Nice)
18h10 : FR2922 (Barcelona): diverted to Charleroi
18h20 : AY817 -> 18h23 (Helsinki)
18h25 : SN2720 -> 21h11 (Geneve)
18h30 : VY-8963 : 18h44 (Porto)
18h35 : TP624 -> 18h44 (Lisbon)
18h410 : LO233 -> 18h43 (Warshaw)
18h45 : AT844 -> 18h56 (Casablanca)
18h55 : CAI621 -> 18h56 (Antalya)
19h20 : HV514 (Lanzarote/Tenerife) : diverted to Eindhoven
19h25 : SN1056 -> 19h23 (Aqaba)

UAL951 Brussels-Washington (Boeing 777-200 reg N780UA) has turned round and looks to be diverting to London Heathrow. No reason given, no squawk. Might be a medical emergency.

Indeed, A332 OO-SFZ is stuck in NBO with an engine failure. It took off normally from NBO but returned to the airport after one hour, circled for some time over the airport before landing.
