Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2014

The Delta airlines flight from JFK. Was delayed by almost 14 hours!!!
Normally landing at 9:40 am , it will now be touching down at probably 23:30 !
Anyone with news? The fr24 site says it is canceled? But it is clearly visible on the map...

Their 767 had a flaps problem after take off from JFK.

Incident: Transavia B738 near Brussels on Mar 5th 2014, engine problem

A Transavia Boeing 737-800, registration PH-HSD performing flight HV-5133 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Barcelona,SP (Spain), was climbing through FL340 about 40nm southwest of Brussels about to enter French Airspace when the crew requested to turn around and return to Amsterdam declining any assistance and maintaining routine communication throughout the return until landing on Amsterdam's runway 18R about 40 minutes later.

Incident: Austrian A319 enroute on Mar 6th 2014, security alert

An Austrian Airlines Airbus A319-100, registration OE-LDD performing flight OS-354 from Brussels (Belgium) to Vienna (Austria) with 122 passengers, was enroute when Austrian Air Traffic Control received a security alert for the aircraft. The aircraft continued to Vienna for a safe landing on runway 34 and taxied to a remote location, where special forces (Cobra) surrounded the aircraft.

No indication of danger was detected during subsequent search of aircraft and interviews with passengers, however, amongst the passengers there was the current Ukrainian Premierminister Jazenjuk, who returned from political talks in Brussels to Kiev with a planned stop in Vienna to change aircraft onto PS-846 from Vienna to Kiev.

Austrocontrol, air traffic control service provider in Austria, reported German collegues had received a terror alert and forwarded the alert to Austria.

Inofficial information states an anonymous phone call had been received in Brussels indicating that Mr. Jazenjuk was in danger. The information had been forwarded to Germany and Austria.

Mr. Jazenjuk boarded the Ukraine International Airlines Embraer ERJ-190 registration UR-EMB, flight PS-846 to Kiev, and departed Vienna on schedule about 45 minutes after landing.

Incident: Brussels RJ1H at Budapest on Mar 10th 2014, flaps problems

A Brussels Airlines Avro RJ-100, registration OO-DWG performing SN-2825 from Brussels (Belgium) to Budapest (Hungary), was on final approach to runway 31R when the crew did not switch to tower but reported they had discontinue the approach due to technical problems and requested to join a holding. After working the checklists the crew reported they had solved their flaps problem, they expected a normal landing but needed to be slower than normal on approach. The aircraft landed safely on runway 31R about 35 minutes after aborting the first approach.

The aircraft was able to depart for the return flight with a delay of 50 minutes.

Normally aircraft perform decelerated approaches, meaning during the appraoch the speed is gradually reduced as flaps are extended. Aircraft with flap problems will extend available flaps in a holding pattern or early in the approach. The approach speed will be lower, but the landing speed could be higher if landing with a lower than normal flap setting.

Indeed, but that's HLN.be 2014: a factual release about this 'incident' would classify it as a non-event, meaning no coverage, meaning no website visitors, meaning no visitors who clicks on Google ads, meaning unhappy owners.

But then, at least this HLN-journo was more modest then his fellow HLN-journo who wrote a few days ago, and I quote: "Thirteen Belgians survive aircraft crash in the USA". It was that US Airways A320 rejected take off & runway excursion after a tyre exploded during take off roll:
