Hi Dens987987,

Welcome to Luchtzak! I see you are a frequent long-haul flyer. May we see a trip report from you soon?

There are some very interesting routes listed there, most notably the Mauritious one. I've never read a report about them!
Sabena and Sobelair - gone but never forgotten.

Congratulations André :P
12/02 --> BRU-MAD on TV856 (Virgin Express)
15/05 --> MAD-BRU on TV861 (Virgin Express)
16/03 --> BRU-FAO on TV540 (Virgin Express)
23/03 --> FAO-BRU on TV541 (Virgin Express)
NicoD,

I have a question ? How can you do BRU-FAO-BRU in march, when you only come back from MAD in may :?: :roll: I assume it's the 15/02 isn't it ?

And welcome to the forum dens987987 :D

I'm sorry for you Denis. :cry:

I hope you'll recover as soon as possible.
It's sad because you had some nice flights waiting for you :(
I don't usually like low Cost airlines but this airline has a monopoly on the Geneva-Nice route
Isn't it time for SNBA to start GVA-NCE :lol:

Ciao

Indeed, I tought I saw it on TV. They said that there wasn't a route GVA-NCE yet, but that SN BA it will do...
Is this right? Or not?

I think you're referring to the GVA-MRS route that will be done by SNBA ;)

Sorry to hear that. Were you repatriated with a 'sanitary flight'? In the past, Sabena was flying every year such a flight by B737 between GVA and BRU for Europe Assistance.

Today we made a reservation for our honeymoon...
It will be a 10 day stay in Aruba
Flights will be on August 16
BRU-AMS Fokker 70 KLM Cityhopper dep. 12'o clock
AMS-ARU MD-11 ( or 747-400?? ) dep. 14:25
Returnflight ARU-AMS 25 august 20 'o clock
AMS-BRU 26 august I think 14 'o clock
At last we can see the "new" A terminal when the shops are open.
The two former times were at 5:30 in the morning, all shops closed.

wow, reminds me of our honeymoon... In 2002 we went to Guadeloupe, first Thalys to CDG and than with Air Lib DC-10 to PTP, our return-flight would be with an AF 747, but due to strikes of AF, we returned again with a full DC-10 of Air Lib... Oh where is that wonderful time? Anyway, have a nice honeymoon! 8)
For us, I don't think that we can take a holiday far away, with our little baby, it will be the Belgian coast (watching planes at OST :wink: ). A possible business-trip to HKG is cancelled, maybe next year...

MD-11,

Airport code of Aruba is AUA, not ARU.

BRU-AMS on 16 Aug KL1726 F70 KLM Cityhopper (dep 12:00 arr 12:50).
Flight AMS-AUA on 16 Aug (KL733) is operated by MD-11 :D (dep 14:25 arr 18:20)
Return flight on 25 Aug: flight KL734 AUA-AMS by MD-11 (dep 20:05 arr 11:20 26 Aug). Connecting flight KL1729 AMS-BRU by F70 KLM Cityhopper (dep 13:05 arr 13:50)

Hi everybody,

I was Dens987987 but I had some plroblem with my login so I had to change it.

@ sn26567 : I wasn't raptriated because I live in Switzerland. It is true that Sabena used to operate sanitary charter flights every year from Geneva. These flights used to be be well-booked. I don't know if SNBA does it.

Best regarsds to all.

Denis

I think they do, but I don't know to which airport they are flying for that operation. If I remember correctly I saw on TV last year an RJ of SNBA doing such an operation
