Interesting, Targu Mures ! Can we expect more of these kind of destinations in the future ?
I am surprised that they still don't fly to Moldova , Bălți would be perfect, low cost wise. And is there a reason that they don't fly to Bosnia , Serbia , Macedonia, Monte-Negro, and Albania ?

I'd like to know the reasons too. :)

Last summer I flew on a BRU-OHD (Macedonia) with Jetairfly and the plane, OO-JAT, was full on both flight and even on other flights according to my cousin. So I think there is a potential good market with the Balkan even with seasonnal flights.

Montreal would make a lot of sense.

But NYC as well...

According to OAG Aviation's flight status data, out of 181 European airports, only five had a 100% flight departure reliability in DEC12. One of them is CRL !

The other ones are BVA, INV, BLK, KOI.

Gatwick serves 34 million a year with a single runway, so enough room to grow ;)

Code: Select all

From wikipedia : Gatwick operates as a single runway airport. It has two runways; however, the northern runway (08L/26R) can only be used when the main runway (08R/26L) is out of use, for example because of maintenance or an accident. The runways cannot be used at the same time because there is not enough separation between them, and during normal operation the northern runway is used as a taxiway.[30][91][92] It can take 15 minutes to change from one runway to the other. The second runway was built as a taxiway and was gradually widened.
(just like in LGG btw)

So this remains true. No stress :)

One runway is quite enough, it's the terminal which limits the number of pax.
Stansted has one runway, but a much larger terminal - 17,5 million pax last year (a peak of 23,8 million in 2007).

Crl needs a same terminal as stansted ??
Meaning : three terminals for three different operators and connected with a train/mover.. ?
I would say, bring norwegian, easy to crl ...
But I don't see it at crl, where should the two other terminals be built ?
On the other side, sabca buildings with an underground connector?
Maybe.. in the far future,,.'
Guess another prolongation of the main terminal would be he maximum growth for now,...
