WIZZ AIR LAUNCHES BMIBABY RESCUE FARE
Affected passengers can book London – Prague for £29.99*

Wizz Air, the largest low-fare, low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, launched today a rescue fare of £29.99* for passengers affected by bmibaby’s flight cancellations. Passengers in possession of a cancelled bmibaby flight reservation from UK to Prague (and/or Prague-UK) can book via the Wizz Air call centre and must bring their original reservation when they travel. Wizz Air launched this unique rescue fare of £29.99* on its London Luton-Prague route to minimize disruption to affected passengers.

Call centres
United Kingdom: 0906 959 0002
Czech Republic: 900 140 940

Wizz Air understands the difficulties of affected passengers to find alternative travel arrangements after bmibaby’s flight cancellations. We are now offering this £29.99* on our London-Luton route to/from Prague and hope that this minimizes the disruption suffered by these passengers. Bookings can be made via our call centres until 21 May and the original bmibaby reservation must be brought to the airport when flying on Wizz Air’s unique rescue fare,” said Daniel de Carvalho, Corporate Communication Manager at Wizz Air.

*one way; includes taxes and booking fee, for travel 9 Sep – 27 Oct, subject to availability

That route did not last very long, and it was flown by bmi Regional (certainly when it first started up) with an ERJ.
