A Dash 8 for Brussels Airlines

Post by turbopilot »

I read the following item on the Flightglobal website :

Austrian Arrows DH8D OE-LGC (4026) was ferried from Innsbruck to Vienna on 20/3 without titles prior to wet-lease to Brussels A/L.

Anyone can confirm this ?

Thanks !

Christian

for the BRU-HAJ route? I think it has been reported before that the wet-lease on this route will change from Augsburg Airways to Tyrolean / Austrian Arrows following a short period of being operated with a SN RJ85. Cannot confirm 100% however ...

err, not sure I understand everything (if this was detailed in another thread, just give me the link ;)): does it mean there will be flights between Brussels and Hannover on this nice Dash-8? Does anybody know for how long? This sounds very tempting (never been in Hannover yet)!

Before Summer 2010 it was LH (at least their daugter companies like Augsburg, Cityline) wich operated the Hannover route. As from Summer 2010 the route was officially 'transfered' to SN, but the HAJ route was still operated by a wet leased Q400 from Augsburg Airways. But since this summer the contract with Augsburg ended and a new contract was signed with Tyrolean Airways to operate the route with one of their Q400's.
Is that clear enough?

Small correction, this is the one who was flying to route for SN. Now its SN itself operating the route and very soon the Q400 or Tyrolean will take over.

Hi,

I think a I know a guy who just had a 'happy ending' !
Ugly plane IMHO, this plane is the best answer if a livery change would be acceptable !
YES !!
But nice to see a plane in SN colours than in a BMI,LH regionals..

Looks like the photo is fake: http://www.flightlevel.be/5338/brussels ... n-tyrolean
It says that according to SN the plane will not fly in these c/s, but only in a hybrid c/s with SN titles.

That explains why the tails looks so strange to me.

Indeed Sabena320. It's funny to see the copy/paste of Flightlevel to this forum by certain members.

Am I too suspicious or would it be possible that somebody is still trying to convince the world that Brussels Airlines should convert to Q400NG ?
I am very careful in my expressions because this ( former ?) member made clear I am under surveillance !
