I was in the Pier B to see the first plane of Icelandair landing at BRU. This is a very nice plane.
There were something strange after : the 757 has been parked at the Pier A around the gates A51 or A53 (and not in the Pier T). Normally those gates are only used for Shengen flight and Iceland is not member of the European community and so not of the Shengen area. Then, normally, it needed to park at the Pier B. Is there a special reason why they used the Pier A?
Iceland is not a EU State but is a Schengen member, like Norway and Switzerland. If I'm not mistaken these 3 countries have a special status.
The Algeria Air Force Gulfstream 7T-VPM landed on 02 a few minutes before the Icelandair.
