United Airlines stays flying it's T7 to BRU this winter.

Continental will use again it's T7 to BRU this winter (but can still change)

US Airways will use it's B767 four times a week on it's route PHL - BRU on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

The other American carriers will use it's metal like they do now. The same for 9W.

Easyjet is going to increase their number of flights between Milan Malpensa and Brussels to two flights a day. They are going to add a morning flight.

Jetairfly is going to add a second flight to Aqaba. The pas few weeks and months (high demand) it was obvious that a second flight was in the air. They second flight is foreseen as from Christmas. The two flightdays are Tuesday and Saturday.

Jetairfly has added Taba, Egypt to its growing network. JAF 5063-5064 links Brussels and Taba on Fridays. The flight leaves at 06h00 in Brussels and arrives in Taba at 13h25 (local time). Inbound flights make a stopover in Sharm el Sheikh, while the flight back to Brussels is non-stop.

Only one year after moving operations from Charleroi Brussels South airport to Zaventem, Romanian low-cost carrier Blue Air has decreased the number of flights from Bucharest Baneasa to Brussels. Starting from the 26th of October there will be only two flights a week . On Mondays JOR 123 leaves BBU at 08h20 and arrives in BRU at 10h15. On Fridays JOR 123 leaves Romania at 15h20. Flights to Constanta were seasonal and are obviously discontinued during the winter season.

It looks like Sterling is no longer bookable on BRU-CPH/ARN/OSL beyond 29SEP08.

EasyJet cancelled their morning rotation BRU-GVA on Tuesday and Wednesday in December and January.

Had a quick look into the new slot requests for next winterseason 2008-2009. Nothing realy special in the pipeline at this moment. An overview:

Hamburg Int'l :?:

1x weekly flight on Sundays to PRN with A319

Jetairways

Daily BLR - BRU - BLR
Already mentioned on the forum...

Aegean Airlines :?:

Daily to ATH with A320
Wonder if they are coming or not, its not the first time they disappaer a few weeks before the new season begins

CO 060-061

772 iso 764. Will downgrade again to 764 from mid December till end of January
Already mentioned on the forum...

Blue Air

2 weekly direct flight BBU - BRU - BBU on Monday and Friday
3 weekly flight BBU - BRU - STN - BRU - BBU on Wednesday, Thurday and Sunday

Eastern Airways :?:

3x daily to NCL with S2000
Strange when you see they pulled completely out of BRU before with other routes

Turkish Airlines

3 extra morningflights ESB - IST
Already mentioned on the forum...

Like always, it's still a long time till the new season starts. Things always change

With traffic rights between BRU and STN? Normally yes, since they are an EU airline, but will there be many bookings?

Making the construction of a special LCC terminal less and less interesting.

As predicted.

Making the construction of an LCC terminal more and more urgent.

Typical, you react like we say in Dutch: kuddegeest mentaliteit, meelopers. An intellectual men would first checked out all his sources before post in a topic, something you never did because you have no sources except the newspapers.

In meantime, Established02 had probably a problem with the bookingengine, a common problem. As today you can book flights with Sterling to Oslo, Copenhagen and Stockholm beyond 29 September. And second, Sterling has a special regime during some months of the year, but maybe you also didn't knew that.
