The guess the aircraft type game, version 2.0

Post by fokker_f27 »

It's been over a year since the last post in the original topic, and it seems to be broken now, so I'll restart this old game.

The rules are straight-forward: one person posts a plane picture, someone else guesses it. If the guess is correct, they can post their own pic. If the person who has guessed correct doesn't post within a reasonable amount of time (3-4 days), someone else may take his or her turn.

Anyway, I'll start off with the first pic:

Shouldn't be to hard, but there is a little 'twist' ;)

Hello

yeah!

Guess it's my turn not?
Well I found a type I had difficulties with finding the actual type, I've seen one in a museum once so that's why I got the idea from...

Found worse pics than this but...don't mind the black spot in the rear...I accidentaly did that when editting the pic (I did remove the reg...would be too easy elseworth).

Succes!!!

where are the days of the difficult ones...
we had to look again and again in the back of jet engines to compare after burner lay outs, and zoom in on pictures from museums how a wing was attached etcetera.
One of the most difficult ones as far as I remember was that Westland Wyvern , or Mustang ( or development with turboprop) , or CAC15 Cangaroo, Hawker Sea Fury, MB5, I don't remember.

Btw, I don't have copper mine account. I tried it twice but failed. So, we expect now from the last poster a new entry - but much more difficult please!

Try www.imageshack.us , they don't require registration. ;) Don't use image tags with the picture though. their server is slow so this page will take ages to load in that case.

It's been 3 days now, so I think I'll go, as I have a though one up my sleeve. If Regi posts one before this one is guessed, we can switch over to his and do mine later.
