EBCI closed many times this afternoon

EBCI closed many times for more than 1 hour today.
The runway inspection vehicle was on the runway too often.

They though did open when WIZZAIR's and Ryanair's were there but General Aviation was told to hold or to go somewhere else.
Anyone have any informations?

Yes, everyone ended up making T&Gs in EBNM when I landed there for a drink yesterday.

I still don't know why EBCI closed down. Maybe runway problems because of the heath? I see nothing in the NOTAM for today.

Maybe some works around the runway or so...

Once last summer, they closed the airport for 1hour to clean up the cut grass that was left on the rwy lightings...

That's a shame, jet engine-digested grass makes a very good fertilizer!
